A.       Definition of Announcement

Announcement is an official notification about something that is announced so that  many people usually write announcement and paste on a board which is easy to be seen by the people.

B.        Purpose:

The purpose of announcement is to information us what has happened or what will happen.

C.       Generic Structure of Announcement

Purpose            : The text that contains what event will be held

Day and Date   : Day and Date of the realization

Time                : The text that contains when the event will be held

Place                : The text that contains where the event will be held

Sender            : The text that contains name of the person who will be contacted

D.       Specific Text of Announcement

• Directed for general

• Using Simple Present Tense

                        • Using Imperative Sentences

  E.  Example:

 To : All students of SMKN 1 Sukawati

        Due to pandemic of corona virus, OSIS of SMKN 1 Sukawati will make a donation  program for people who still need to work out of home because of economic needs. The donation should be transfered from DANA, OVO or GOPAY to number 081915333877. The donation will be used for buying masks and gloves for them. We will inform you the usage of donation through telegram everyday. Thank you for your attention, and we do hope this pandemic will be ending soon.
